We have designed this tour for those who are fascinated by local culture and incredible scenaries. You will have the chance to appreciate the beauty of three isles in the Persian Gulf, taste the local cuisine and wet your toes in water.
Qeshm Island is located in southern Iran inside the blue waters of the Persian Gulf, which is the biggest island of Iran and the world's largest independent island. Qeshm has 69 city and villages covering a total area of 1491 square kilometers. Humidity is high in Qeshm. The average temperature is about 26 degrees Celsius; June to September is the warmest time with 46 degrees Celsius and most balanced temperature is in January and February about 16 degrees Celsius. The island has many springs that are mostly saline water. Mangrove forests are the main vegetation on the island, which is called Avicenna Marina, and the range is more than 2,000 square kilometers. Different animal species live on the island; there are 4 species of rodents, plenty reptiles, 3 species of snakes, 17 species of lizards and 1 type of amphibian. Vertebrates are also among animals that can be found on the island, however a number of them are classified as endangered species like the deer; on the other hand birds are the most diverse in Qeshm, so much so that 173 species of birds have been identified so far and 4 million birds migrate to the island annually. Also the island is the first Geo Park in Iran.
Hengam Island located two kilometers of Qeshm's southern coast, across a channel that is on average about eight fathoms deep. Geologically, it is a salt plug, just like Hormuz, Larak, and Abu Musa Islands: It has a rocky topography that is dominated by multiple hills and pocked by caves and salt-pits; the highest elevation is about 105 meters.
Hormoz, an oval shaped island, it was originally a salt dome with sedimentary and volcanic strata. It is only 42 square kilometers but it is spectacular. Hormoz Island is famous for its beautiful wilderness. The island, known as Organa (Όργανα) to the ancient Greeks and as Jarun in the Islamic period, acquired the name of "Hormuz" from the important harbour town of Hormuz (Ormus) on the mainland 60 km away, which had been a center of a minor principality on both sides of the strait. The principality paid tributes to the Mongol-ruled Ilkhanate and was an important source of income from maritime trade.
