Mount Alam-Kuh, is a mountain in the Alborz mountain range in the north of Iran, Mazandaran Province, forming a peak of Takht-e Suleyman Massif. It is located in Kelardasht District of Mazandaran Province of Iran. With an elevation of 4850 meters, it is the second-highest peak in Iran after Mount Damavand.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer to Rudbarak
Transfer from Tehran to Rudbarak then Tang-e Galou and start trekking.
Drive distance: 154 km on road, 4-5 hours, 25 km on a dirt road, 2 hours
Trek time: 3-4 hours
Altitude gain: 400m
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Hesarchal Tent Camp
Day 2: Alam-Kuh Summit
Ascending to the summit of Alam-Kuh 4850m which is situated North of the camp, takes 5-6 hours, Passing another glacier, a small path leads up to the summit.
Above 4300m we will not find vegetation anymore, this area is full of rocks and some snow. From the top, the Caspian Sea can be seen. After pushing the summit trekking down to Hesarchal camp takes about 4 hours.

Day 3: Back to Tehran
Descend to Tang-e Gelu, and from there drive to Vandarbon. Transfer from Vandarbon to Tehran.
